ONE NATION READING TOGETHER

 SCHOOL ORGANISED ‘ONE NATION READING TOGETHER'  EVENT  ON 30^TH NOVEMBER,2012.MRS SHASHI JAIN, A CELEBRATED WRITER OF HINDI FICTION FOR CHILDREN, PRESIDED OVER THE READING SESSION. THE STUDENTS FROM ALL THE SEGMENTS VERY ENTHUSIASTICALLY TOOK PART IN THE SESSION.MRS JAIN ALSO INTERACTED WITH THE STUDENTS AND RESPONDED TO THEIR QUERIES. SHE COMMENDED THE STUDENTS’ READING ABILITIES AND THE DISCIPLINED MANNER, IN WHICH THE READING SESSION WAS COMPLETED

Entire school logged on to books @ reading for pleasure hour.

FOUNDER'S DAY CELEBRATONS

 PRAKASH UTSAV

 SCHOOL  celebrated FOUNDER’S DAY from 19^th to 22^nd NOV.2012 to commemorate the birth and philosophy of the Founder Guru – Guru Nanak. The celebrations began with an Inter- school Gurbani Recitation Competition followed by Sri Akhand Path in which entire GNPS fraternity participated with great reverence. On  the final day, divine hymns were sung followed by poems, sermons and extrapolations to relive the significant accounts and activities from the Founder Guru’s life symbolically in his praise.

The programme concluded with the Prize-distribution ceremony in which the winners of the Inter school Gurbani  Competition and toppers of Divinity and GK from the academic session 2011-12 were awarded by the esteemed members of the Management  Committee.
