HAPPY DIWALI

STUDENTS DECIDE TO CELEBRATE CRACKERLESS DIWALI

Students were sensitized about the harms to environment caused by crackers, and they came forward one & all to abstain from crackers and it was heartening to see them all join the campaign to celebrate a GREEN & CLEAN DIWALI.

CULTURAL ODYSSEY

ISA- ACTIVITY

'A Cultural Odyssey-A Peep into the Heritage of India & U.K.' was organized as a part of the ongoing ISA activity.The cultural sojourn proved to be an extremely enriching experience for the students of  Middle Segment, wherein through an exhibition, the students displayed scrapbooks, powerpoint presentations,charts, posters, handicrafts and food depicting the ethnic culture of Indian states and U.K. countries.The students also presented Folk Dances and a Fancy Dress Pageant depicting the ethnic costumes of both the countries. Their performances were adjudged and warmly appreciated by the visiting teachers from Oakigton Manor School, Wembley,London.




















THIRD PRIZE

HARJOT KAUR (4-D) & MANPREET KAUR (4-B) participated in Inter School Punjabi Declamation Contest on BIBI NANAKI organized by Mata Sundri College on 17th oct.2012 and bagged the third prize-a certificate and cash prize.

CONSOLATION PRIZE

HARSIMRAN KAUR (12-A) & RAVLEEN KAUR (9-B) participated in the Inter School Lecture Competition organised by Kirtan Prachar Academy on Gurmat,Sikh History, Human Values and Punjabi Language on Sunday, 4th Nov.2012 at Mahfl Banquet Hall,G.T.Karnal Road.The girls got consolation prize of Rs.250/- each, participation certificate and a TROPHY for school.
